It case you don’t yet know, the premise of the Whole30 programis to strip awayany foods that might be harming your health – even if you don’t think they are. Sugar, grains, dairy and legumes can all cause inflammation, having a negative impact on thedigestive system. Our bodies canbenefit from a ‘reset’ by cutting them out completely for awhile (or forever, depending on your body!).
But what do you eat in the meantime?
One of the most intimidating parts of starting a newdiet is figuring out what in the world you’re going to be eating. This is particularly true when you’re cutting out grainsand dairy. With all your easy, trusty standbys out the window, what’s left?
As I know from experience (and you probably do too), if you don’t have a plan, you’ll probably end up giving up before too long. And while you can definitely benefit from eating Whole30 for a little while, your body won’t get the full positive effects if you don’t stick with the program for at least 30 days.
