First-time Group of the Year nominees Consumed by Fire join a strong lineup of returning favorites that include CAIN, Casting Crowns, Elevation Worship, Maverick City Music, MercyMe and We The Kingdom. Big songs and even bigger tours set the compass for this year’s carefully curated list of contenders. The collectives represented in this category range from a host of family bands to diverse worship outfits to some of Christian music’s most beloved acts. All seven of the Group honorees are deserving, but only one of them will leave with the golden ‘K.’ Fans will determine their fate when they vote for the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Award winning Group of the Year.
Hosted by CAIN, the 10th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards will air exclusively on TBN Friday, June 2, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT.
CAIN
After unveiling a worship collection, “Honest Offering,” headlining their first tour and sending “I’m So Blessed” to radio, CAIN can add another Group of the Year nod as a feather in their already full cap. The sibling trio has had a phenomenal year, building on the momentum of their debut album, “Rise Up,” which produced two consecutive No. 1 songs and plenty of buzz surrounding the band, who will serve as hosts of the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards.

Casting Crowns
Fans selected Casting Crowns as the very first Group of the Year in K-LOVE Fan Awards history back in 2013. The collective returned to the winner’s circle the following year, accepting the trophy for Artist of the Year. Their 2023 Group nomination arrives on the heels of the bestselling band’s “Healer” record and their acclaimed headlining tour of the same name.

Consumed By Fire
First-time Group of the Year nominees Consumed by Fire find themselves in the running thanks to the massive impact of their current and climbing single “First Things First.” The band of brothers — consisting of Caleb, Jordan and Josh Ward — are in the studio hard at work on more original songs inspired by their relationship with God, each other and their late father, whose legacy they hope to honor through their music.

GRAMMY®-winning outfit Elevation Worship remains a recent favorite in the Group of the Year bracket, though the collective has never walked away a winner. On May 19, just one week ahead of this year’s K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend, the revered act will drop their latest live collection, “CAN YOU IMAGINE?,” a set of faith-affirming original songs from the group behind “Same God,” “Graves Into Gardens” and “RATTLE!”
